Award Winning Independent Recording Artist Adam Joseph is creating buzz worldwide with his smooth soulful voice and original eclectic style. Since the release of his debut album “How I Seem to Be”, he has gained acclaim from some of the most respected figures in the music industry. He was recently featured on Super-Producer Bob Sinclar’s latest Album “Born in 69″. His self-produced debut music video “Flow With My Soul” was among the first indie label videos to make it into heavy rotation on MTV’s LOGO Network. He has written and produced music for acts like The ONES, Kevin Aviance, Lea Lorien, Alex Kassel and Jonte and toured the globe performing with his band The Elegant Children featuring Beyonce’s Drummer, Nikki Glaspie. Adam is currently anticipating the release of his new EP and continues to spread his love for music to a constantly growing audience around the world.

DIAMA

Diamá (aka Claudia D’Addio) is an exceptional talent and unafraid to swim against the current. This might be the best way to describe 28 year old Italian, power-voiced Diamá. Since her debut on a Swiss TV talent-show, conceptually similar to American Idol, she has emerged as one of the most charismatic Swiss personalities.She has already proven her vocal-skills on an international level since she participated as part of the group “Six4One” as Swiss entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 held in Athens (Greece). There she performed alongside Andreas Lundstedt from the legendary Dance formation “Alcazar”, Tinka Milinovic a Bosnian Superstar and three other singers form different nationalities. The project was led by renowned German composer/songwriter/producer Ralph Siegel, who is a veteran in the contest.
She has just shot the video for Glitzerhaus and their upcoming Hit „8 PM (8 Pick-Up moves), recorded the vocals for the first “pat & jiam” single “white or purple” and is now back in the studio to finish recording her debut album. Diamá is definitely the embodiment of a real diva and still proves that quality is always the first priority when it comes to music.

The name of this recipe is GLAMOTRONIK and reflects musically an intelligent mash-up between retro-80’s Pop and modern dance-sounds refinished with a pinch of british Nu’Rave. In combination with dance crew “Datt’Style”, it becomes an audiovisual experience even live.

GLITZERHAUS

Due to their always changing looks and exocentric music choices Glitzerhaus got instantly noted by the Swiss gay community. It was not very long until they got their first resident gigs at some known Swiss LGBT-locations. Their stage appearance evolved as well: what started as a DJ duo is nowadays rather a performance cocktail with draq queens, live vocals, MC-elements and live music.

Recently the music video of 8 P.M. (8 Pick-up Moves) premiered. A colorful and esthetic mix of different genres. The video, filmed in black and white, represents the Glitzerhaus approach on: crazy, sexy and as always a good portion of self-irony.

HEIDI HAPPY

Although she was honoured as the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation’s Swiss Top winner in 2007 for her music, the bright-eyed Lucerne Rock City pop singer Heidi Happy only officially began her recording career in 2005. O-o-oh, the first single on Flowers, Birds and Home is perhaps the best direction on how to approach the singer whose feet stand in pools of indie alternative folk and pop jazz at the same time.

Toronto’s NOW magazine listed the album as one of the top 10 of 2008, Switzerland’s tastiest export since Emmenthal, creates her career-best work that somehow manages to be both charmingly whimsical and deeply affecting in equal measure.

This year she will be touring in Germany, Spain and Great Brittan. She is a true networking-genius, a social-light and a model who knows how to make a real fashion-statement. How many drag queens can state about themselves being muse for a fashion-designer such as Nicotin or having ridden a pride-parade on a horse? Well, she can!

SHOSHANA BEAN

Best known for her roles in the Broadway smash hits Wicked and Hairspray and a stellar performance alongside Brian McKnight on the Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards, Shoshana Bean recently released her debut solo album Superhero on her own label, Shotime Records. In it’s first week of sales, Superhero reached #5 on the iTunes R&B charts, making it the only independent album in the top 100.
Music truly surrounded Shoshana from the moment she was born in her parents home in Olympia, Washington. When first placed in her father’s arms he carried her out into the living room and danced around to Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely”. Dire Straits, Heart, Bonnie Raitt, Frank Sinatra, Luther Vandross, Sarah Vaughan, Tom Petty, Robert Cray, and Aretha Franklin provided the soundtrack to Shoshana’s formative years. It wasn’t long before she developed musical tastes of her own and began singing and dancing around the house in high- heels and make-up to the music of Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston, Pat Benatar, George Michael, Michael Jackson and the soundtrack to ANNIE. Her mother enrolled her in dance classes at age three and by 6 years old, Shoshana expressed interest in participating in theater…

YELLO / Touch Yello – the virtual concert with Dieter Meier and Boris Blank

As special highlight on Friday Electrnic Beats Classics together with Dieter Meier and Boris Blank presents “Touch Yello – the virtual concert”, featuring Swiss singer/songwriter Heidi Happy.

Yello’s sound is mainly characterized by unusual music samples, a heavy reliance on rhythm and Dieter Meier’s dark voice. Boris Blank has taken a couple of vocal turns; on “Swing” (from You Gotta Say Yes to Another Excess) and “Blazing Saddles” (from Flag), and guest vocalists have included Rush Winters (the first female diva to be featured on a Yello recording), Billy MacKenzie, Stina Nordenstam, Jade Davies and Shirley Bassey. The group has shared writing credit with MacKenzie and Winters. Yello rarely uses samples from previously released music; nearly every instrument has been sampled and engineered by Boris Blank, who over the years has built up an original sample library of over 100,000 named and categorized sounds.

The music is composed by Boris Blank, who considers himself a perfectionist. When the tracks are mostly finished, Dieter Meier adds the vocal parts when fitting.
