Stonewall-Award
The trophy for exceptional engagement.
The die is cast and the three finalists for the Stonewall Award 2010 are set.
The visitors of the Zurich Pride Festival homepage could nominate in March a single person, a group or an organisation who was specially engaged in 2010 for the concerns of lesbian, bisexual or gay people.
From 10. – 24. April 2′462 visitors have chosen the following three finalists:
Daniel Frey
Daniel Frey is steady on his way for the LGBT-Community, is doing interviews with fascinating personalities for gayRadio.ch in Bern, works as a member of the editorial group of habInfo from the homosexual workinggroups Bern and is in the managing-committee and GA of the HAB.

PinkCop
The association PinkCop is a consortium of homosexual police women and man in Switzerland. They advance acceptance and confidence of lesbian and gays inside the police and in the population and are doing education for the police about homosexuality and homophobical motivated violance.

SHOE
SHOE is since 1997 probably the largest and most successful lesbian social networking website in the German speaking area. Despite of complex server administration the basic functions on the platform are for free. Additionally they offer an intellectually demanding space where broadsides are not endured but fun is still no foreign word.

The winner will be elected by a qualified jury on Friday 4th June 2010. Starting from 6:00 p.m. the winner of the Stonewall Award 2010 will be announced on the main stage. Before of the handover of the trophy the finalists and their organisation will be presented. The winner receives the CHF 3000.- endowed price.
